(Meetings will last under an hour)
Trip Dates: May 29th-June 2nd, 2017 Tuesday thru Saturday
Here is a “brief” summary of our trip to NYC.
We spend 5 full days and we are busy from sun up to sun down. Our typical day goes from 6:30AM to about 11:00PM. I promise that we keep them busy the whole time they are not asleep. We travel to NYC on a plane and are taken by our private bus with our tour guides all over the city.
For the trip, It is going to be a NYC tour that is Theatre heavy but lots of history and pop culture mixed in. We will try and kind of make it a Hamilton theme to a point. We are going to see 3 Broadway shows the kids will vote on. (in late November they vote on the shows) , Plus we head to Times Square, Broadway District, Madison Square Garden, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Deck of Empire State Building or Rockefeller Center for a spectacular view of NYC, We’ll also check out the Upper West Side Tour with Harlem, Cathedral of St John the Divine, Columbia University and Alexander Hamilton’s home. We also will tour Lincoln Center, and a theatre and check out the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 memorial and Museum. We stay busy.
While there, the kids will blog for us and we update the website with photos so the parents can follow along. We even have our own Facebook page called “Keller Theatre NYC Trip”, and last year use the hashtag of #KISDNYC17 on Twitter and Instagram.
Why do I believe in the trip? I’ve never had a kid have a bad time and haven’t heard anything but great things from parents. I love the fact, that all the US History stuff they study all year, comes to life, and it is soooo neat to see them make the connection. I also love this trip because it seems we only attract really good kids and they have such a blast meeting new kids or becoming better friends with everyone on the trip. It is something they never forget. I truly believe that your child can buy new clothes, and toys, but memories last forever, and this is a good one.
The trip is May 29th thru June 2nd. It cost $1649 and that includes all food, airfare, travel, and a really nice hotel.
There are 4 separate payment dates. One is October 30th, then Dec. 15th , followed by Feb 1st and the last one on April 1st. Attached are the forms.
Just for full disclosure, there is also a $75 fee for 5 shirts, a subway ticket, (most kids have never been on one and really enjoy the experience) and all their tip money for our bus drivers and tour guides. We have matching shirts each day for looks, and mostly safety reasons. They are pretty cool shirts the kids pick out (You can see them in pictures of them on the website). That money is not due until March 4th.
To sign up, Go online to www.juniortoursonline.com and fill out the information requested. You will need our Tour Number: 18KHBKNY2 and a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover) Your card isn't charged until we hit our next 20 total. (6 away)
It’s going to be a heck of a trip, Let me know if you have any questions what so ever.
